Engr. Dr Shittu Adelawon Ariyo was born on the 11th of August, 1962 into the Amaroro Royal Family of Iperu-Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
He had his primary education at Anglican Primary School, Ajebo in Ogun State and gained admission into Methodist Secondary Commercial Collage, Sagamu, where he obtained his General School Certificate with six distinction. He then studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, where he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (elect) in 1986, Master in Business Administration at the University of Calabar, Master in Information Technology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Master of Ministry at Great Nation Bible Academy and Doctor of Philosophy from Evangel Christians University of America.
He started his professional career working with Integrated Group, an oil & gas servicing company, Lagos and also constructions and consultancy firm in Nigeria between 1987 to 1995.
He established engineering consultancy firm POMECH ASSOCIATES LTD in 1994 and function as principal partner and has since then established other companies such as Crownprince Properties and Development Limited, Abuja, Crownprince International Schools Abuja, Crownprince Construction Ltd, Crownprince Global Industries Limited all under one business umbrella known as Crownprince Group, where he is the Chief Executive Officer /Chairman.
Engr. Dr Shittu Adelawon Ariyo is currently the Chairman Board of Trustees of Yoruba Community, FCT Abuja, President Ogun State Development Association, President Estate Developers Association, Nasarawa State
